The mom of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Mita Gray seems was not able to hold back herself and reacted to the negative crit1cisms throwing against her daughter because of the issue raised by Catriona's former boyfriend Clint Bondad.
The beauty queen received several negative criticisms from the online community after Clint Bondad posted a series of crypt1c messages on his Instagram Stories.
Aside from Clint, an Instagram used named Kimmy also caught the attention of the netizens because of her claims against Catriona.

After a few days since the issue was raised, Mita Gray finally speak up and defend her daughter against the claims of Kimmy. Mita sent a private message to Kimmy, warming her about the claims she was posting on social media.

Mita wrote on the message,
“You continue to def4me my daughter and you do so at your own peril.”

The account then replied to the message and wrote in the caption of the post:
“Sorry po, Mum. Wala naman po kaming ginagawang masama. Shineshare lang po namin ang mga ganap na kagagawan din ng unica hija mo.”
It seems that Kimmy is not bothered or scared posting her claims about the beauty queen in spite of the warning she received from Mita.

Meanwhile, many netizens defended Catriona against crit1cisms she is receiving now, however, there are some who believe that the action of Clint is only the result of what Catriona did to him.
Catriona, on the other hand, remains silent about the issue. But recently, the beauty queen posted a quoted verse from a Christian song on her Instagram story that read:
