The camp of Vice Ganda negotiated with TV5 during the franchise renewal issue of Kapamilya Network.
As the application of Kapamilya for a fresh 25-year franchise was denied by Congress, Kapamilya employees are finding a new way and alternative creative platforms to survive.
Comedian-TV host Vice Ganda is among the Kapamilya stars who find an alternative platform not only to survive but also to provide work for Kapamilya employees who lose their job and continue giving entertainment to the people despite the closure of the Network.
Vice Ganda already conquered television, the movies, and even cosmetics. But now, the "It's Showtime" host is ready to launch his own network. His website called "Vice Ganda Network" will feature the talk show "Gabing Gabi na Vice". Aside from that, it also features a karaoke challenge, interactive game show, documentaries, beauty tips from Vice Ganda, and many more.

The online show "Gabing Gabi na Vice" will set to launched on July 24. It offers a funny and entertainment segments featuring special guests as well as the front-row seat of laugh trip from Vice Ganda.
Prior to his own network, the camp of Vice Ganda first negotiated with TV5 during the franchise renewal issue. But according to some reports, TV5 rejected the TV host because of the high amount of talent fee which was asked by the camp of Vice Ganda.

According to a report from Philstar, the talent fee being asked by Vice's camp was worth of Php3-M for only a month for just a once a week show.
Because of the failed negotiation between both camps, many people think that this might be the reason why Vice Ganda just decided to have his own network.
