Batang Breadwinner, Doble Trabaho Upang Masuportahan Ang Kaniyang Pamilya At Maipagamot Ang Mga Magulang

They said childhood is the happiest stage of a person's life because it doesn't associate with any problems and responsibilities. The only thing they needed to do is to play and study.

Children also have a lot of rights that their parents have to give. The right to have a proper education, the right to have a happy environment, comfortable house, enough food, and most of all, the right to be happy and to play whenever they want to.

But it is just sad to know that not all children are lucky to experience all of it.

Just like the kid named Manny from North Caloocan who needed to work hard and earn money at such a young age to support the needs of his family and the medicines of his parents who were both ill.

Manny's father is disabled while his mother has tuberculosis, so he was forced to work as his family is only relying on him.

As a child, Manny had to forget to play and study to become a breadwinner and work really hard to support the needs of his family.

He spends his whole day looking for a double income or double job. In the morning, he sells broom, sponge, and other household items. He also patiently roaming around on several barangays in different places just to sell his goods.

From afternoon to evening, Manny needed to walk around again to sell balut. Manny said this was the only way to support his family, and in this way, he can able to make his parents happy.

Manny said,

"Makita ko lang na masaya ang mga magulang ko, masaya na ako."

His life as a kid might be difficult as it was already full of responsibility but he was very happy and contented as long as he sees the happiness of his parents.
