A wedding day is one of the most important and special times in the lives of two people in love. This is something that the couple can remember for as long as they live. That's why many couples are really doing their best to have a special yet memorable wedding day. They planned it carefully from the church where the wedding will be held to the reception.
But what if the day of your wedding is also the day of your farewell to the world?
This is the sad wedding incident in Tiaong, Quezon. The happiest day of the couple Victor Banayo and Marjorie Caliza ended in a day of mourning.
Marjorie and Victor planned their wedding for a long time. And on December 26, the couple of 8 years finally continue their planned wedding despite the challenges and trials they faced.
Before the scheduled wedding, Marjorie became seriously ill. Therefore, she underwent surg3ry on the assumption that she would recover immediately. But, unfortunately, after the operation, she had to go back to the hospital again because her canc3r was spreading and getting worse.
Sadly, Marjorie p@ssed away on the exact day of their wedding. She could no longer endure the pain she was suffering and bid her goodbye at the ceremony of her wedding.
May Ann Mercado shared on her Facebook account this unfortunate event. Marjorie can be seen lying on the stretcher when she arrives at the church. It is a sign of how serious her disease is.
Because of their dream of getting married in the church, the two still continued their marriage even though Marjorie had canc3r. Despite the serious illness, she still wanted to marry her beloved.
Instead of using a bridal car, the hospital ambulance took Marjorie to the church. Aside from the bridesmaids and godparents, the nurses, and medics also witnessed the wedding.
Though Marjorie was wearing a wedding gown, she was still unable to walk in the aisle. Despite this, the priest continued the wedding because of the desire of the two to receive the sacrament of marriage.
But, unfortunately, in the middle of the wedding, the priest declares the d3ath of Marjorie that brings sadness and tears to the people inside the church.
However, the priest still continued the wedding ceremony and declared the successful unification of Marjorie and Victor.
Due to the tra6ic incident, instead of going to the reception, Marjorie went straight to the fun3ral home.
Despite the tragedy that took place between husband and wife Victor and Marjorie, it is still proof of how deep and strong the love they had for each other.
