Carmina Villaroel happily celebrated her birthday with the effort of her family to give her a surprise for her birthday celebration amid the enhanced community quarantine.
The Kapuso star celebrated her 45th birthday on August 17, Tuesday, but because the Metro Manila is under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) at that time, they only celebrated it in their house with their whole family.
In an Instagram post, Carmina shared several photos of her birthday celebration.
The actress-host said it was a birthday surprise, prepared under the leadership of her husband Zoren and their two children, Mavy and Cassy. For Carmina, this birthday is one of her happiest and special birthdays even though it is simple and they only celebrate it in the house due to the MECQ.
Carmina wrote on the caption,
“Despite the quarantine, I had the best birthday celebration ever.”
She added,
“I love you, my family.”
The Kapuso actress also expressed her gratitude to all the people who greet her, her friends, family, and fans that didn't forget her birthday.
Some of Carmina's friends in the showbiz industry who wished her a happy birthday were Judy Ann Santos - Agoncillo, Sylvia Sanchez, and Pops Fernandez.
Carmina said,
“Thank you so much for all those who took the time to greet me on my birthday. I feel so loved.”
Zoren, on the other hand, gave a sweet message for the birthday of his wife on his Instagram account.
Zoren wrote,
“Saeng-il chugha (Happy Birthday) @mina_villarroel. In the midst of this pand3mic, we all deserve to smile, especially you on your birthday.”
He added,
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY. WE LOVE YOU.”
The MECQ didn't hinder the family of Carmina Villaroel to give her a surprise for her birthday because they wanted her to make happy and make her special day a memorable one.
