The camp of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is demanding 10 million and a public apology to a local tabloid who posted her fak3 nud3 photos on their Facebook page and website.
From the demand letter of the lawyer of Miss Universe 2018, they complained about the Bulgar tabloid for the alleged mal1cious post that sl4ndered Catriona. The said article was released on July 19, 2020, with a title that reads, "After ng bantang pasab0g ni Clint... Nud3 photos ni CATRIONA, kalat na!"
According to the beauty queen's camp, the article was lib3lous due to the posting of just a screenshot of an advertisement for a clothing and lifestyle brand, accompanied by an edited t0pless photo on which Catriona's face was placed.

In the letter sent to Bulgar, it is said that what they did is a violation of the Cybercr1me Prevention Act.
“In cases where obscene images are diss3minated, uploaded, or shared through social media accounts, the person or institution that shared it is liable under the law for vi0lation of Cyb3rcr1me Prevention Act.”

It is also stated in the letter that the said tabloid hum1liated the name and reputation of Catriona, a well-known public figure in the country after she won the Miss Universe.
Because of this, Catriona and her camp are demanding Php10 million and a public apology from the writer Melba Llandera, showbiz editor Janice Navidad, and the Facebook administrator of the tabloid.
The Bulgar tabloid was given 10 days to fulfill the demand of the beauty queen and if they don't do it, Catriona's camp will file a c4se against the said tabloid.

As of now, the Bulgar has not yet given a response to the letter from Catriona's camp.
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray became trending on social media last month after her ex-boyfriend, Clint Bondad making a series of crypt1c messages on his Instagram account where he seems referring to Catriona and the latter's boyfriend, Sam Milby.
