Ito Pala Ang Rason Kung Bakit Tuluyan Nang Umalis Si Anjo Yllana Sa "Eat Bulaga"

After working for more than two decades as a co-host in the GMA-7's longest noontime show, "Eat Bulaga", Anjo Yllana sadly announced that he will be leaving his career as a host and member of the said noontime show.

Even if it hurts for Anjo to leave the said program, he still bravely announced it on his Facebook account to inform his supporters on the show

He wrote on his Facebook post,

"With a heavy heart... I submit my resignation."

Anjo was very grateful to be a part of "Eat Bulaga" and be with his other co-hosts who are already part of his life and considered as his family.

The comedian added,

"Thank you, Dabarkads. Thank you "Eat Bulaga". 21 years and it was a blast. Goodbye and all roads to your 50th."

Meanwhile, many people expressed their sadness over the announcement of Anjo, especially his fans and his co-hosts. Nevertheless, he is already firm in his decision, especially it had a big impact on him and his family because of the pand3mic we are facing right now.

In an exclusive interview, the actor mentioned some of the reasons why he decided to pass a resignation letter in "Eat Bulaga". According to him, one of the reasons why he didn't continue his contract is that it is dangerous now to socialize with other people as we are facing a cr1sis right now brought by the C0VID-19 pand3mic. Especially their "Bayanihan" segment which needed to go around in different barangay in the country.

Anjo also said that he has been temporarily suspended from work for almost a few months because "Eat Bulaga" has not yet been able to move around in various barangays because it is still forbidden to socialize with people.

The actor also worries that this pandemic may take another 2 years and he will have a hard time if he does not have a job. Family is still Anjo's priority so he just decided to stop his career in the said noontime show.

Right now, Anjo has been finding ways to support the needs of his children. In fact, there is news circulating online that the actor will become a host again in the noontime show entitled "Net25" which was operated by Eagle Broadcasting Corp.

Anjo already signed the contract on August 10 and the said show is expected to start in September or October. However, the actor has not yet confirmed the news.
