Netizen, Pinangaralan Si Maris Racal Kung Paano Tumatakbo Ang Philippine Government

A certain netizen recently lectured Kapamilya actress Maris Racal after the latter questioned why the government seems to prioritize the revival of d3ath pen@lty in the country instead of the cr!sis that we are facing right now.

In a Twitter post, the "Pamilya Ko" star complained about why the government wanted to revive the d3ath pen@lty amid the pand3mic happening in the country.

The tweet of Maris quickly circulated on social media that it reached to a certain Tio Moreno who lectured the actress on how the Philippine government works.

In a Facebook post, the netizen explained that the Philippine government has three branches: the Executive, the Legislative, and the Judiciary.

Moreno said the government can able to revive the d3ath pen@lty and handle the pand3mic as well. With that being said, he said it can be said that the government can multitask.

He said,

“The Executive is composed of the President & Vice President. The Constitution grants the President authority to appoint his Cabinet,”

“The Legislative branch is divided into the Senate and the House of Representatives. They are authorized to make laws, alter, and repeal them.”


“The Judiciary is made up of the Supreme Court and the lower courts. This branch will tell you about the controversies involving rights and this identifies whether or not there has been a grave abus3 of discretion amounting to lack or excess of jurisdiction on the gov’t.”

“That being uttered, we can say that the government can MULTITASK.”

Moreno pointed out that the government should not stop functioning normally despite the pand3mic happening in the country.

The netizen said,

“Just because there is c0rona virus doesn’t mean they need to stop with their functions. If we will follow your idea, then you are saying that we should not jail violators, we should not sanction terr0rists, we shouldn’t allow lawbreakers to be held accountable on their mishaps because we need to focus on C0VID19.

At the end of his post, Moreno wished that he was a classmate of Racal during his 4th grade so he can give her free tutorials about how the government function.

“Maris, I was in the 4th grade when I learned how the government works. How I wish we were classmates back then so I can give you free tutorials. Mag aral ka please, dami mo ng pera kaso lang b0bita ka.”

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that the Kapamilya actress receive a crit1cism against the netizens for her complaints about the government.


The family of Maris said last April that they will never hesitate to file charges against the netizens who keeps on critic1zing and thr0wing rud3 remarks to Maris.

Maris' sister said.

“Feel free to take screenshots and send it to me. I might not reply because I’m flooded with messages but thank you. We’re taking legal actions on this. Apparently, spreading rumors can really put you in trouble. Good luck guys!”
