It is natural to feel annoyed at such an event. Of course, it was taken from you without permission. Instead of having a dish, you still need to prepare or look for something to buy again.
Hilsy Policarpio Almerol felt the same way, a security guard who shared his experience in the Bantay Animal Welfare group on Facebook. A cat st0le his Bangus dish so he got an6ry.
“Nagalit ako noong una nang makita kong tinangay niya ang isang bangus na sana pangtanghalian ko.”

But when he found out where the cat brought the fish, his anger immediately washed away. It turns out that the cat brought the fish to her children in the roof.

He said,
“Pero no’ng makita kong pinakain niya sa mga anak niya, nawala bigla ang galit ko. What a big heart of a cat mother!”
Hilsy then took a photo of what he witnessed. In the photo, the two kittens can be seen happily eating the lunch their mother brought to them.

That is the reality of stray cats. No one will feed them so they needed to be resourceful to surpass their everyday needs, especially they have a kitten. They are no different from people who are also concerned about children.
Hilsy wrote,
“Please po pag nangyari po sa inyo ito, huwag n’yo pong sasaktan ang mga pusa dahil sila man din ay may pinapakaing anak.”
Meanwhile, Hilsy earned several praises from the netizens because of his good deeds.
Here are some of their comments:
“Kudos to you, sir! Thank you for being so open-minded to the mother cat. May God bless you even more.”
“Salamat. Tama ka. Parang tao din silang mga pusa. Parang tayo kakainin na lang natin ay ibibgay pa natin sa mga anak natin. Ganyan sila. Kaya mahalin at wag saktan kasi may damdamin din silang marunong masaktan katulad natin.”
We are hoping that Hilsy will become an example to others with similar experiences. Stray cats and dogs can count on nothing but us. Whenever we see cats and dogs in the streets, we should give them food to eat. We believe that a day will come and they will also repay us for our kindness.
