He is one of the Tulfo Brothers in Isumbong Mo: Tulfo Brothers along with Ramon, Ben, and Erwin Tulfo. The program aired only a few episodes due to some internal network problems and controversies.

When he moved to TV5 network in 2010, Raffy Tulfo became a host and news anchor in several shows of the said network, including "Oplan Zero", "Tambay", "Balitang Tapat", "Wanted", "T3 Alliance", "Aksyon Weekend", "Aksyon Sa Tanghali", "#TolWagTrollRespetoLang", "One Balita Pilipinas", and "Idol in Action."

Tulfo has a weekday afternoon radio program entitled "Wanted a Radyo" on Radyo5 92.3 News FM with Sharee Roman. The said radio program started in 1994 which Tulfo also hosted. The radio show also aims to resolve conflicts between families and recognize the honesty of citizens who return valuable items that they find.

The tough-talking broadcaster got married to Jocelyn Pua on January 20, 1995. Based on the Facebook page of Jocelyn, she was born and raised in Cauayan City, Isabela, and continues her college degree at Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines.

Jocelyn is also an active representative of the ACT-CIS partylist, also known as the Anti-Crime and Terr0rism Community Involvement and Support Partylist. The partylist is in the lower house of the congress and is endorsed by high-profile brothers Raffy and Ben.

Raffy and Jocelyn have two children, namely Maricel and Ralph.

Like his father, young Ralph has developed a fondness for public service. On his 22nd birthday, Ralph chooses to spend his savings to buy meals for the less fortunate citizens of Payatas, Quezon City.

Raffy's daughter, Maricel, on the other hand, noted that her father is really different on-screen compared to at home. According to her, she loves her father and can talk to him about anything in her life, including her love life.

Despite being a loving dad and generous individual to other people in need, Raffy was involved in bigamy. The case was filed against him by a certain Julieta Licup.

Julieta claims that she is the true wife of Raffy. According to her complaint, she got married to the broadcaster-journalist on October 25, 1982, at Office of the Mayor in Capaz, Tarlac.

But according to Raffy, Julieta was blackmailing him. Julietta also got married to a foreign man and she often asking a huge amount of money to him before. If the veteran journalist didn't give the amount she was asking, Julietta allegedly said she will destroy the career of Raffy.

Despite facing problems and controversies in her personal life, he still proved that he is really a good person and a generous one to those people in need.
