She said,

Zsa Zsa wrote,

“Affected kasi lahat. Para lang tayong naghulog sa bulsa ng mga magnanakaw. At pag tayo nagkas4kit, waley.”

According to PACC, many high officials of PhilHealth faced charges because of the alleged c0rruption.

Presidential Anti-Corruption Commissioner Greco Belgica stated,

“There’s no one big mafia in PhilHealth but rather many groups in regions. It’s like territorial. If you remember the PDAF sc4m… it’s similar to this. In every region, someone has a territory because the system allows fraudul3nt claims to exist.”

He added,

“The bulk of the transactions of PhilHealth happens at the regional level. If you remember, the entire board was fired by the President last August and yet c0rruption still persisted in PhilHealth…That’s really where the fraud is happening.”

Belgica further went on that PhilHealth already lost over Php154 billion because of overpayment in 2013.

Meanwhile, PhilHealth former anti-fraud officer Thorsson Montes Keith cited that the executive committee of the insurance corporation already pocketed about Php15 billion.

He said,

“Naniniwala po ako base sa aking imbestigasyon na ang perang nawaldas at nin4kaw ay humigit kumulang P15 billion.”

Keith stated the officials only wanted to increase the contributions of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) as they wanted to recover the money they c0rrupted.
