In an online interview with movie and television writer G3 San Diego on her YouTube channel, Kapamilya star Angel Locsin looked back to the time when she first started her showbiz career on the ABS-CBN network.
G3 told Angel,
"Talagang you made ABS-CBN your home. One of the few artist that really made GMA and ABS-CBN their home. And you have been iconic in both stage that's why a lot of people love you diba."
In response, Angel first shared everything she went through before she enters the entertainment industry.
She shared,
"Maraming hindi nakakaalam bago ako mag GMA, uhm sumali ako sa isang contest. Sa Sta. Lucia nuon eh and isa sa mga judge duon is ABS-CBN."
She added,
"Nanalo ako sa contest dun. Ang exchange nung, alam mo yun, nung prize uhm workshop sa ABS-CBN. So kahit papaano may ilang workshops, tapos ilang guestings sa show and then pahinga ng konti. Tapos nagkaruon ako ng chance sa GMA."
The actress also admitted that GMA is the network that helps her to achieve the popularity she had now.
Angel said,
"GMA ang nagpasikat saakin. Nuong lumipat ako sa ABS naman, siguro kaya mas matagal ako sa ABS kesa sa GMA, alam mo yun parang naging pamilya talaga ang tingin ko sa mga tao. SIguro iniisip ng ibang tao may issue ako sa GMA ganun, hindi eh. Actually nag uusap parin kame ng ibang katrabaho ko sa GMA."
In the said interview, Angel Locsin also opened up about her experience of being cheated on by her former partners.
Without mentioning any name, Angel said: "Oo, na-experience ko na."
The Kapamilya star pointed out that being cheated on is not based on how a girl looks physically. She also said that women should stop blaming themselves when their partner cheated on them because it is not their fault if they are not loyal and contented.
She said,
"Wala naman sa itsura yun. Karamihan ng mga kababaihan, kapag naloloko, sinisisi yung sarili. Pero mali yun. Kailangan ma-realize ng mga kababaihan na ang ganung gawain, hindi mo fault yun. Hindi mo fault kung walang loyalty yung isa."
Angel said her painful experiences in her previous relationship taught her a lot of things and help her to shape the person she is now.
