A few days after the news of the departure of well-known YouTube content creator Lloyd Cadena came out, his fans and the online community still could not move on with his sudden d34th.
Many vloggers and close friends expressed their emotion at the unexpected plight of the 26-year-old vlogger. But we still hear nothing from his family. Perhaps, it was difficult for them to accept what happened to Lloyd.
On September 5, Saturday, the father of Lloyd who is an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) finally speaks up for the first time.
In an emotional vlog on Friday through his own YouTube page, Jun 'Khalid" Cadena, he said the day he found out about the sudden p4ssing of Lloyd has been the saddest day of his life.
He said,
"Yesterday was my saddest day in my life, because I lost my Lloyd."
According to his father, he was on duty when his child called him to said the sad news. At that time, the father couldn't back his emotion and tears because of what happened to his kind-hearted son.
Jun said it breaks him big time as he was not given a chance to see his son one last time before he bid his goodbye to the world since he is an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) based in the Middle East.
He said,
“Ang hirap tanggapin ng isang ama na mawalan ka ng anak. Sobrang hirap.”
He added,
“Ginapang namin sila ng kanilang ina mula pa sila sa hirap. Kahit paano nakakain sila ng tatlong beses sa isang araw. Di bale kaming magulang na hindi kumakain para lang sa mga anak. Ako sanay na ako sa walang kain-kain, makita ko lang mga anak ko na hindi nagugutom.”
The father said he was very surprised when he learned about the demise of Lloyd that it even came to the point that he was only looking for a wall for three or more minutes as what happened to his son still not sinking in on his mind.
He also pleaded to the public to respect the privacy of their family during these trying times.
