“Pantasya ng Bayan” was just one of the nicknames given to actress Joyce Jimenez in the 1990s and 2000s. We can’t deny the fact that Joyce is a beautiful and sexy actress in her generation. Aside from her charm and appeal, she was also admired by many because of her skills in acting and her kind heart.

She appeared on the covers of men’s magazines and starred in several sexy films, earning her the moniker “Pantasya ng Bayan.” Despite her stellar career, Joyce decided to leave show business in 2008.

It was later revealed that she left showbiz to live a simple and peaceful life in the US. She married her Filipino-American boyfriend Paul Ely Egbalic in 2008. Paul is an Air Force soldier in the United States. The two of them are blessed with three children, Jorja Ely, Jaysen Elise, and Julian Elysson.


According to a report from GMA News, their son Jaysen was diagnosed with autism in 2015.

Joyce currently lives a peaceful and happy life with her family in San Diego, California, where she also works as an office supervisor.

She also said that he had no regrets when she left her career in the Philippines to build her own family.
