Maymay Entrata recently admitted that there is one person who makes her heart happy, but it is not her on-screen partner, Edward Barber.
In an interview with Mega Magazine, the actress mentioned the person who makes her happy now.
She said,
“Sa totoo lang po may nagpapasaya na po sa aking puso at naway kahit anong maging desisyon namin ay respetuhin po ‘yun ng aking mga taga-supporta.”
The actress decided not to disclose his name or give any hints about his personality.
Maymay has always been linked to her onscreen partner, Edward Barber since they left the Pinoy Big Brother house. However, the two eventually said that they are only friends and will work on separate projects for the time being.
The two stated in a joint statement,
“Pareho po namin na-realize na sa estado ng buhay namin ngayon, we both are still very young, and there is so much more we still want to achieve in our lives.”
She added,
“We both agree there is no need to rush into anything. This means not having a romantic relationship between us at this point.”
In an interview in January this year, Edward said that he was content with being friends with Maymay.
The actor stated,
“We’re content where we are and with the friendship that we have so there’s no need to push it any further. Maymay and I are the closest of friends.”
Meanwhile, Maymay stated in an interview with Mega that her attention is now more focused on her career as an actress.
She said,
“Dahil sa experience ko po for five years dito sa industriya, mas nakilala ko ang sarili ko. Now I know my strengths and weaknesses. And, because of that I can now face problems and difficulties head on. My direction in life has also become clearer lalo na’t alam kong nakakapagbigay ito ng saya at tulong sa iba.”
